Hi Jayashree
Your post on Learning is indeed worth pondering over….. I believe I hardly found anybody from the academia who harbors the emerging paradigm about learning like you do.
Nice to connect with you through Linkedin.

This is some basic information about e-learning for initial understanding of what exactly is e-learning.
I would describe e-learning to be a solution which allows an individual to acquire skills on their without dependency on a trainer or a training institute. The only requirement is an internet connectivity. The e-learning service provider would provide the user with a user name similar to the mail-id.The user can login with the user name and password and access the course.
The course is a mixture of some presentations, some video sessions and flash movies, these components are appropriately blended to create an efficient course.
